About Me

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  Let me tell you a bit about myself.......

I'm an old soul, slightly eccentric, and an introvert. Married to a wonderful man, Chad, for 14 years. Mother of 4 great kids; ages 22, 20, 20, and 15, and Mimi (grandma) to a sweet little girl born June 2015. I love strong coffee, good food, traveling, and time spent with my husband and family. This blog will be about my life, my family, minimalism, slow living, my love of travel, and tales from our little acreage.  In 2013, after 15 years in banking management, Chad quit his job, we sold our house and half of our belongings in Nebraska, moved our daughters off to college, and left behind our lifestyle so Chad could go back to school.  Chad had longed for a change of direction in his career so we took the plunge and it totally changed our lives! We make our home at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a little white farm house.
